Effective 1 July 2025 |Stage 2 Enhancement In Line with MOM Requirements
We are pleased to announce that all China Taiping Maid Insurance policies—both new and existing—have been enhanced with a Letter of Guarantee (LOG) feature at no additional cost.
This update complements the MOM requirement effective 1 July 2023, which raised the hospitalisation and surgical expenses limit to S$60,000 for all plans.
🔹 What is the Letter of Guarantee (LOG)?
The LOG allows direct payment by China Taiping to hospitals for eligible inpatient and day surgery claims, eliminating the need for employers to pay out-of-pocket first and claim later.

This enhancement provides greater convenience and stronger support during medical emergencies—ensuring both employer and helper are well protected
Legal Liabilities
We will indemnify you against legal liability arising from claims by your foreign domestic maid at Common Law of up to S$250,000 in any one accident / in aggregate.
Hospital and Surgical Expenses
We will indemnify you against legal liability arising from claims by your foreign domestic maid at Common Law of up to S$5,000 in any one accident / in aggregate.
Wages Compensation
We pay up to S$40 per day for Wages & Levy Reimbursement (Max 60 days).
Insurance Guarantee
We will provide a Letter of Guarantee to MOM in lieu of the S$5,000 cash deposit.
